Master Bedroom} Revamped!!

 It's been a little over a year since we have moved and we finally got around to our master bedroom. It was green when we moved in, patched holes around the top of the windows, metal blinds and our old bedroom set all together just was GROSS!!  We didn't get to mark our stamp on this room yet. Our son still loves to sleep with us every night and now that he is half the size of us we figured we need a king size bed.  I know, I know he should be in his own bed! Don't judge, I'm a parent who will do anything for sleep. So since we got a whole new bed why not do the whole room. Let's make it cozy and welcoming.  My husband I'm sure rolled his eyes at me. Deep down inside he loves waking up to this room now. I know I do!!

Happy Birthday Addy!

Addy turns one and she is one cutie! Although she made us work hard. She is on the go.... walking since she was 9 month old their is no sitting this one down for a second. We managed to have a great time dancing and laughing at her personality.  She loved every second of that cake! Take a peek at Addy 1st birthday cake smash session.

Brighten up the staircase!!

 So it begins... another home project for the McCarthy's! This is photography related right? Anyways for those who don't know me to well I'm addicted to home improvements and so is my hubby. I have so many projects I want to start and frankly its just finding the time to do them.  Our stair case was BORING! The walls needed at least a coat of of paint or something. We decided to do a little board and batten and eventually carry this down the main hallway. We chipped away at it little by little and I would say a month later the staircase is finally finish. Im so happy with the results that I had to show you all.  Whew I'm so lucky to have such a patience husband and a handy one at that.  I did put him to work but he enjoys this kind of stuff. I think...

Taryn and Mark

I love getting to know my future brides and grooms during their engagement session.  These are important sessions because we get to know each other before they spend the whole day with me on there wedding day.  We covered the city of Medina, there was way to many awesome locations!  We showered some love all over the city!  If I could describe LOVE it would be these two! They are fun, lovable and just awesome! I think their story is pretty awesome and Taryn is so cute with her little accent all the way from South Africa.  I look forward to the big day in September 2014.
