2012 has come to an end, welcome 2013!

I havent been the best with keeping up with this blog. Frankly life gets in the way! I would say this would be on my new years resolution list to post more and to keep up with my own blog.  Im not the best story teller, writer or photographer I do know Im blessed with an awesome son! Who now is just a little over 2. Don't get me wrong he can push my limits and make me pull my hair out. Reflecting on the year I would have to say if it wasn't for my son I don't think I would be where I'm at today. He pushes me to my limits, I want him to look up to me and be proud of his mom and dad. Wow! Thinking about the last year makes me think wow did all this happen in one year! Lets start from the beginning of 2012. January seemed to always be a tough months for us, we decided to pay off all our credit cards off and we did it by March! My husband got a promotion (so proud of him).  I started marketing more and it helped a lot. I have a way to go with marketing myself but for now baby steps. Im learning how to run a business and its a challenge. My son turned the big 2 and I cant believe how fast time is going. I celebrated my 4 year wedding anniversary and I have to say our spark is still their :) We always seemed to be looking at homes and decided a 3 year plan was in the works to buy a home. We knew selling our condo would be a waste of time in this market. Then what do you know we found a home we loved! My husband did everything in his power to get this home! I would say this was a roller coaster experience. Its still fresh being a landlord (renting our condo out) and living in a new home.  I was sad for a little bit leaving our condo, I was also scared thinking did we make the right decision. Our house is slowly starting to feel like a home. Not a lot of memories have been made here yet. I would say my big memory here is starting to have a relationship with my mother again. It was a little over a year that we didn't talk or see each other.  Things are positive between us and I couldn't be happier about that. Moving on... Ava my niece was born on Oct. 31! A halloween baby! I was so lucky to watch the birth! It was a heartfelt moment. My little sis is blessed with 2 beautiful baby girls! She is an awesome mommy and I'm proud of her. Oh I totally for got to mention in July I pretty much planed my husbands family reunion in Colorado. I only meet most of them at our wedding 4 years ago. His lovely Aunt Tye and Uncle Dennis were so nice to let like 30 people stay at their house! Their was people everywhere. I would have to say his family is awesome! I feel I made friendship on that trip. Not that my son will remember his 1st plane ride or meeting any of them I know that they will all remember meeting him. Our christmas was a hoot this year. All 5 little kids from age 3 months to 4 years old were loving the gifts this year. The christmas spirit had started back up in our family. Its so cool to see the excitement on their face, and everyday since christmas my son ask me for a new present. With all that being said Im looking forward to see what 2013 has to offer. This year I'm taking chances and going for my dream! Why not you only live once! I say jump in get your feet wet and go for it!!!!
